A Blind Date with a Book – 30 Days of April #13

Happy Saturday! I’ve seen this all over the show, although I’m a little late to the party. I love to guess the books by just few hints. Granted, I’m not very good at it, but it’s so much fun. So, please come on a blind date with three books from my read shelf.

A Blind Date with a Book

Can you guess the books? Answers will be at the end of this post, but no peeking!

Book 1

This one is one of the best ones I read last year. As soon as I finished it, I wanted to turn back to the beginning and start again. This book made me fall in love with the author and I have since collected further 7 books by them. The author’s first and surname start with the same letter.

Book 2

One of my favourite war time romance books of all times. I never shut up about it and mention it when ever appropriate. It’s #1 and there are total of three books in the series. The narrative is set in the World War II Russia. The only book I’ve ever read that is over 600 pages.

Book 3

Now, this book. This book is one that has impacted me on a level I never thought a book could. Straight up my street – full of hope, love and struggle. Based on a true story.

A Blind Date with a Book - book 3

I wish my local libraries and book stores did a blind date with a book. I absolutely love the idea! Until then, I’ll be getting my fix online 🙂

Let me know in the comments if you guessed the books I chose?
